The 243SUPPORT mission is simple - to spread the fun, freedom,
and friendship that skateboarding has given us throughout
our lives.
To support all skateboarders by supplying new equipment at
prices cheaper than regular skate shops.
To support younger skaters, and those that don't yet skate,
by recycling our old equipment and passing it on free of charge.
To encourage creativity and the DIY element that we believe
is an essential part of skateboarding culture.
To support skateboarding as a whole by trying to get skateparks
built, and supplying information to skaters that are trying
to get their own facilities built.
To continue having fun through skateboarding for as long as
possible!

The 243 SUPPORT FAMILY
is made up of our friends and people that we skate with who
have the same love and passion for skateboarding as us. Our
"team" doesn't get free equipment, and they don't
get paid. This means we can sell equipment to everyone at
a low price, and don't have to pass on the cost of sponsoring
riders to you by charging high prices. Our Family is made
up of writers, artists, designers, and various creative types,
so we'll always have something fun to show the rest of the
world, so be sure to explore the rest of our site.

Skateboarding has given
us so much, we decided that it is time to give something back.
Aside from supporting you through cheaper equipment, we will
also be available to help, where possible, in helping you
raise money to build skateparks, teaching skateboarding in
schools, designing and consulting on skateparks, and by getting
involved in getting the kids off the boredom/destruction route
by supporting any project that promotes skateboarding as a
fun and free activity.
So if you're trying to raise money for a skatepark, or get
people to sign a petition, we can put your contact details
or a link to your website on ours.
As our mission progresses, the more information we'll be able
to give you on raising funds, designing parks, dealing with
officials, and doing thing for yourself.
We will be running a reduce / reuse / recycle sponsorship
scheme for young riders. You know - the ones with tons of
talent, but boards so old that the tail is square, the wheels
have 15 flatspots and the trucks are bent...
All our team riders will be returning their used boards to
us. Those still in good condition will be given free to kids
who have dedication and respect.
So skate your hardest and support others, you never know who's
watching!
Unridable decks will be used by our creative team as canvas
for paintings, materials for furniture pieces, and anything
else we can come up with. The plan is to exhibit and sell
these 'pieces of art', thus creating income for future 243
SUPPORT missions. |

As our site grows, we'll
bring you not only photos and movie clips of our team and
the finest product, but also ramp plans, downloadable stickers
and stencils, advice on approaching your local council about
building skate facilities, and any other stuff we can come
up with to help support skaters and skateboarding.
For us to support you, we need your support in return, so
come back soon and spread the word!
We have a guestbook for you to discuss topics with other skaters.
We hope you will use this for passing on advice on how to
do tricks, how to build ramps or screenprint t-shirts, or
who your favourite bands to skate to are - any information
you think is important and want to share.
And be sure to check out what our friends around the world
are up to through the "links" section.
243SUPPORT.co.uk, like skateboarding, is for everyone - we
hope you enjoy it! |
